No, we provide services to all of the New England area at this time.

Do you take walk-ins?
No, all of our clients need appointments to be seen.

How do I make an appointment?
You can call us directly at 781.681.7003 or you can complete an online request form from our website.

What is a client contract agreement?
An agreement that states you are a willing participant in our program and that if you dedicate yourself, we will dedicate ourselves.

Why do I need to sign the client consent of release form?
So we can network on your behalf and submit your resume to our established contacts.

What type of services do you offer?
We offer skills assessments, career planning, computer training, office etiquette training, interview skills, resume preparation, image consultation, financial planning, job search planning, mentoring and coaching and job placement assistance.

What type of tutorials do you offer?
We offer Microsoft Office Suite 2007, 2003 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access), Microsoft Windows (Windows XP, Windows Me and Windows 2000), Web Design with Front Page, QuickBooks Pro, Typing Master Pro, Internet Research and Email (compose, send and attachments) tutorials.

I just need my resume critiqued can I still sign up for your service?
Yes, you may still sign up for our services.

What, if after the first meeting, I no longer need or want to use your services?
You then do not have to continue with the services we offer.

What is a mock interview?
A mock interview is a practice interview to improve your skills.

How often can I use the Education Resource Room?
As often as you need.

What if I don’t have access to a computer, phone or fax machine?
You can use our equipment at One Life at a Time as long as it is business related.

How often do I meet with my Career Development Specialist?
Once a week so you can discuss all of your plans and progress with your Career Development Specialist.

How does the job search aspect work, do you find jobs for me?
We will work with you in your job search and we will research jobs for you, however we expect you to be doing the same.

Do you have jobs ready to place people?
No, however we do have strong contacts at staffing agencies in addition to Hiring Managers at certain companies.

Will my Career Development Specialist apply to jobs for me?
Yes and no. If you are able and have the necessary equipment then you will apply for the jobs. If you need assistance with applications we can also assist and help you while at One Life at a Time.

Can I continue to use your other services even after I get hired?
Yes.
