Are you only based in the South Shore area?

No, we provide services to all of the New England area at this time. With our recent technology upgrades and virtual program offerings, we are able to provide programs, classes, and services to those who need it, regardless of location.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, all of our clients need appointments to be seen. If you would like to make an appointment, please give our office a call at (781) 681-7003, or send us an email at info@1lifeatatime.org.

What is a client contract agreement?

An agreement that states you are a willing participant in our program and that if you dedicate yourself, we will dedicate ourselves.

Why do I need to sign the client consent of release form?

So we can network on your behalf and submit your resume to our established contacts.

What type of services do you offer?

We offer skills assessments, career planning, computer training, office etiquette training, interview skills, resume preparation, image consultation, financial planning, job search planning, mentoring and coaching and job placement assistance. In support of those in recovery, we also offer sobriety and recovery coaching and support both virtually, and in person.

What, if after the first meeting, I no longer need or want to use your services?

You are under no obligation to continue our services.

What if I don’t have access to a computer, phone or fax machine?

You can use our equipment at One Life at a Time as long as it is business related.

How does the job search aspect work, do you find jobs for me?

We will work with you in your job search and we will research jobs for you, however we expect you to be doing the same.

Will my Career Development Specialist apply to jobs for me?

Yes and no. If you are able and have the necessary equipment then you will apply for the jobs. If you need assistance with applications we can also assist and help you while at One Life at a Time.

Can I continue to use your other services even after I get hired?

Yes. All program participants have full access to our services for two years after successful completion of the program.
